The European Parliament has called on EU countries to adopt the 10th package of sanctions against Russia “as soon as possible,” Kommersant reports.

It is also proposed to ban companies still remaining in Europe, including Lukoil and Rosatom, from operating in the EU market, as well as to refuse not only to import oil and gas, but also uranium from Russia.

Earlier Reuters, citing Polish and Lithuanian diplomats, reported that the EU’s tenth package of anti-Russian sanctions should be ready by the end of February, it may include further restrictions on Russian media and disconnecting more banks from the SWIFT system.

According to Bloomberg sources, it is likely that restrictions on the Russian drone sector and dual-use goods used by the military-industrial complex will be expanded. The agency’s interlocutors pointed out that Poland and the Baltic states intend to insist on a tougher version of the sanctions.
