The very first page of Wikipedia was sold at Christie’s auction as an NFT token for $750,000. The proceeds will go to charity and the development of the social network WT. Social, launched two years ago.

The page appeared on January 15, 2001, on which the co-founder of “Wikipedia” Jimmy Wales wrote “Hello, World!”. In addition, a strawberry-colored iMac was sold at the same auction, from which this (and subsequent) pages of Wikipedia were launched on the network.

It was bought for $187,000.Soon this page will be launched on the Internet again. It will be able to be edited by anyone who wants to edit it, but after five minutes after that the page will return to its original state. However, the future owner will be able to forbid it to do so, or to block access to it altogether.
