The US dollar and euro are getting cheaper on the Moscow Exchange on Thursday morning, while the ruble is strengthening against the bi-currency basket due to market participants’ hopes for progress in the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations.

At the end of the first minute of trading, the dollar rate amounted to 105.01 rubles (-2.99 rubles to the previous close). The euro cost 112.51 rubles (-5.19 rubles to Wednesday’s closing level). The dual-currency basket decreased by 3.98 rubles, amounting to 108.39 rubles.

The dollar was 3.04 rubles below the current official rate, while the euro – 6.3 rubles below the official rate.
