The U.S. market rose on Monday after billionaire Elon Musk became Twitter (NYSE:TWTR)’s largest shareholder, driving the social media company’s stock higher along with the rest of the technology stocks.

Twitter shares are up nearly 30%. Musk, who is being investigated by regulators for his own use of the platform, received a 9.2% stake and may play a more active role in it.

But investors are also focused on this week’s events, especially the release of minutes from the U.S. Federal Reserve’s monetary policy meeting last month. Expectations are growing that the central bank will act more decisively at its May meeting, especially after a jobs report that showed the nation’s lowest unemployment rate in decades.

Still, the Biden administration is struggling with inflation and high energy prices, which probably wasn’t helped by the fact that the price of oil rose back above $100 a barrel on Monday.

U.S. President Joe Biden has a lot to do this week before Congress goes on its two-week Easter recess, including approving his Supreme Court nominee, confirming Fed nominees (including head Jerome Powell for a second term), and accepting funding for anti-COVID-19 programs.

Otherwise, this week is modest on econ data and earnings reports, but first quarter reports will start coming out later this month.

Here are 3 events that could impact the market on Tuesday:

1. SERVICES BUSINESS ACTIVITY INDEX

The US ISM non-manufacturing PMI data for March will be released on Tuesday at 10:00 am ET (14:00 GMT). Analysts expect momentum to increase in March, forecasting a reading of 58.4. The ISM non-manufacturing PMI for February came in at 56.5.

2. CRUDE OIL INVENTORIES

The American Petroleum Institute (API) will report U.S. crude oil inventory levels on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. ET (21:30 GMT). A 3.016 million barrel decline in inventories is expected. Last week, the industry group said weekly crude inventories fell by 3,000 million barrels. The API report is always released before the government’s own estimate is released the next morning.

3. FRS SPEAKERS SPEECHES

There will be 3 Fed speakers speaking today following last week’s latest US jobs data. Neel Kashkari, Lael Brainard and John Williams will speak at 10:00 AM ET, 10:05 AM ET and 2:00 PM ET respectively (3:00 PM, 3:05 PM and 7:00 PM GMT).
