Natural gas futures prices rose during the European session on Friday.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange, futures for natural gas with delivery in June are traded at $8.85 per million Btu, having risen by 0.81% at the time of writing this commentary.

The session high was $/mmBtu. At the time of writing, natural gas found support at $7.219 and resistance at $8.907.

The USD index futures, which shows the ratio of the U.S. dollar to a basket of six major currencies, is down 0.23% to trade at $103.57.

As for other commodities traded on the NYMEX, WTI crude oil futures for delivery in June rose 1.58% to trade at $109.97 per barrel, while heating oil futures for delivery in June rose 0.69% to trade at $4.07 per gallon.
