Software (software) vendor TeamViewer has announced the complete cessation of its operations in Russia and Belarus due to Russia’s special operation in Ukraine.

“We have decided to completely cease any remaining business activity in Russia and Belarus,” the company said in a statement on its official website.

“In addition to complying with all international sanctions and immediately ceasing new business, we are also not renewing any contracts with customers in Russia or Belarus,” it added.

The company said existing non-sanctioned subscriptions that are not related to the misuse of TeamViewer products will be honored until the contract expires, but will not be renewed thereafter.

“In addition, TeamViewer has blocked all unlicensed connections to and from Russia and Belarus to avoid further use of our software,” the company said.

TeamViewer (headquartered in Göppingen in southern Germany) is a manufacturer of software for remote access, remote management and remote maintenance of computers and other end devices.
