The volume of housing construction in Russia in April 2022 amounted to 8.3 million square meters, increasing by 38.3% compared to April 2021, follows from the data of the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (Rosstat).

As reported, in January 2022, 10.3 million square meters of housing was commissioned, which is 1.8 times more than in January 2021, in February 2022 – 10.0 million square meters (1.83 times more), in March 2022 – 8.9 million square meters (up 34.7%).

In January-April 2022, the volume of housing construction amounted to 37.6 million square meters – an increase of 1.58 times to the same period of 2021

As reported, in 2021 in Russia was built 92.6 million square meters of housing, which is 12.7% more than in 2020.
