Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) will recall more than 25,000 2019-2020 Mustang coupes and convertibles due to a problem with the powertrain control module (PCM).

Consumer Reports reports that in the vehicles, the powertrain control module can transmit an unintentional erroneous signal to modules that control the rearview camera, taillights and driver assistance features, which can cause all of these functions to shut down.

The company notes that it is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this problem. On the Russian secondary market, the cost of these models ranges from 2.5 million rubles to 5 million rubles, but analysts at Freedom Finance do not expect prices to fall due to a shortage of imported cars.

Shares on June 8 fell by 1.53% to $13.53. Analysts believe that the company’s stock quotes may continue to decline and return to the area of annual lows of $12.07 per share, from which the securities corrected last month, after falling by 43.25% since the beginning of 2022.
