Microsoft Corporation announced the decision to acquire 4% of the shares of the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and the beginning of a 10-year partnership. This is reported on the company’s official website.

“This strategic partnership is an important step in LSE’s journey to become a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data business and will transform the experience of our customers,” said LSE CEO David Schwimmer.

The partnership will involve next-generation data and analytics and cloud solutions, a new data infrastructure for the London Stock Exchange, and analytics and modeling solutions using Microsoft Azure, artificial intelligence and Microsoft Teams.
