In Russia, 197,076 cases of COVID-19 were detected over the past 24 hours, the operational headquarters for combating the spread of the coronavirus reported. 19,446 people were hospitalized, which is 3.63% less compared to February 9. A total of 701 people died overnight.

The number of sick people in Moscow doubled over the day – from 11.5 thousand cases on February 9 to 22.7 as of February 10.

In St. Petersburg – 21,644 new cases (19,544 a day earlier), in Moscow region – 7,611 (11,956 a day earlier). The mortality rate remains at approximately the same level as before: in Moscow 84 patients with COVID-19 died during the day (82 the day before), in St. Petersburg – 58 (60 the day before), in Moscow Region – 36 (35 the day before).

Nizhny Novgorod Region (+5120 per day) and Sverdlovsk Region (+5510) were also among the five regions with the highest number of patients.
