The volume of electricity generated in China in December increased by 3% compared to the same month a year earlier and amounted to 757.9 billion kWh, according to the State Statistics Office of the country.

At the same time, generation at thermal power plants increased by 1.3%, at hydropower plants – by 3.6%, at nuclear power plants – by 6.6%, at wind power plants – by 15.4%, at solar power plants – by 3.2%.

For the whole of 2022, the country’s generation increased by 2.2% to 8.4 trillion kWh.
