The US dollar and the euro are growing on the Moscow Exchange. The ruble is getting cheaper against the bi-currency basket amid various statements by representatives of the Russian authorities during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2022).

The first deals on the US dollar were held in the range of 56.69 – 56.95 rubles. At the end of the first minute of trading the rate amounted to 56.94 rubles (+44 kopecks to the previous closing level). The euro rose by 31.5 kop. – up to 59.325 rubles. The dual-currency basket rose by 38.37 cents to the closing level on June 16, up to 58.01 rubles.

The dollar was 7.09 cents above the current official rate, while the euro – 36.82 cents above the official rate.
