Last Thursday, Tesla CEO Ilon Musk inaugurated the company’s new plant in Austin, Texas, which is the company’s fourth plant in the world and will produce the Model Y SUV and next year’s Cybertruck. However, according to some experts, Tesla is still only a fledgling electric car maker, Yahoo writes.

Kevin Paffrath, known for his bullish predictions about Tesla, predicted that in the next 2 years, 5 to 10 new plants of the company will be launched, which is very optimistic for Tesla investors.

Paffrath is a financial analyst and columnist for Yahoo Finance Live.

Thursday’s invitation-only Cyber Rodeo event was the public unveiling of Tesla’s new $1.1 billion manufacturing complex and was expected to be attended by up to 15,000 people, who were offered rides and a chance to look inside the massive facility. According to Paffrath, it takes an hour and a half to walk from one end of the plant to the other.

Musk called the new Tesla plant in Austin “the largest factory building in the world by volume and the most advanced automotive plant the world has ever seen.”

At the plant’s unveiling, he also confirmed that Tesla is building batteries, adding, “We think it will eventually be the largest battery plant in the world.”

Paffrath called Tesla a “robotics company,” advising those looking to invest in the robotics industry to forget about Amazon.

“They don’t supply batteries and they don’t supply motors. They put it all together in this factory,” he said.
