Production of trucks at PJSC KAMAZ facilities in February increased in annual terms by 12.4% to 4.052 thousand units, the company reported. In January-February, the company produced 7.375 thousand vehicles (+35%).

The assembly line of the engine plant and the joint Russian-American Cummins Kama joint venture, which is part of KAMAZ’s technological cycle, manufactured and delivered 4.443 thousand engines and power units (+14%) to the plant and other customers over 19 working days in February. Over 2 months 8,169 units of the main products of these enterprises were manufactured (+33.5%).

The total output of spare parts for motor vehicles amounted to RUR 2.86 bln (+23.8%), since the beginning of the year – RUR 4.65 bln (+24.6%).

“KAMAZ is the largest Russian manufacturer of trucks with GVW of 14-40 tons. After the start of the military operation in Ukraine, the company found itself under European sanctions.

The main shareholder of KAMAZ is the state corporation Rostec (47.1%), which recently found itself on the UK sanctions lists.
