The average daily loading on the network of Russian Railways in April 2022 decreased by 5% to 3.413 million tons, a source familiar with the company’s operations told Interfax.

This corresponds to 102.4 million tons for the month as a whole. The loading plan for April was 3.24 million tons per day on average.

RZD’s work plan for May 2022 assumes loading of 3.33 million tons on average per day, the agency’s interlocutor said.

As reported, at the end of 2022, the company forecasted loading growth by 2.4% to 1 billion 313 million tons.
