Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO Ilon Musk will become the owner of social network Twitter by buying 100% of the company’s shares at $54.2 apiece. This is stated in Twitter’s press release. The total amount of the deal is estimated at about $44 billion.

The price of Dogecoin jumped after news that Twitter agreed to Musk’s buyout of the company’s shares. The meme cryptocurrency rose in value by almost 27%.

The price of Brent crude oil fell below $100 per barrel. Below $100 the cost fell for the first time since April 12, then Brent minimally cost $98.98 per barrel.

Car companies Volvo Cars and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) have started to cut the bulk of employees of the Russian office, “Kommersant” reports, citing sources in the automotive market.

The Wikimedia RU Foundation, which represents Wikipedia in Russia, has received a demand from Roskomnadzor to provide data on the resource’s attendance. On their basis, the agency can include the encyclopedia in the register of companies to fulfill the law on “landing”.
