Natural gas futures prices declined during the European session on Friday.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange, natural gas futures for delivery in March are trading at $2.79 per million Btu, down 2.11% at the time of writing this commentary.

The session low was $/mmBtu. At the time of writing, natural gas found support at $2.761 and resistance at $3.595.

The USD index futures, which shows the ratio of the U.S. dollar to a basket of six major currencies, rose 0.02% to trade at $101.66.

As for other commodities traded on NYMEX, WTI crude oil futures for delivery in March rose 1.37% to trade at $82.12 per barrel, while fuel oil futures for delivery in February rose 1.05% to trade at $3.43 per gallon.
