Natural gas futures prices declined during the U.S. session on Monday.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange, natural gas futures for delivery in June are trading at $7.12 per million Btu, down 11.53% at the time of writing this commentary.

The session low was $/mmBtu. At the time of writing, natural gas found support at $7.104 and resistance at $8.989.

The USD index futures, which shows the ratio of the U.S. dollar to a basket of six major currencies, was down 0.07% at $103.76.

As for other commodities traded on NYMEX, WTI crude oil futures for delivery in June fell 6.34% to trade at $102.81 per barrel, while heating oil futures for delivery in June fell 2.35% to trade at $3.86 per gallon.
