Raiffeisenbank has decided to stop accepting cash dollars and euros in its ATMs from February 1, the credit institution said in a statement.

“Raiffeisenbank has decided to stop accepting cash US dollars and euros in ATMs from February 1. The decision is due to changes in customer needs,” the bank said.

As explained in the credit organization, the low proportion of technically complex currency transactions affects the availability of ATMs for operations with rubles, which are more often needed by customers.

At the same time, customers can deposit cash currency in branches as usual, they added. The bank also emphasized that all operations with foreign currency are carried out without changes in the usual mode.
