Five airlines of Alexey Isaikin’s Volga-Dnepr, Russia’s largest air cargo group specializing in worldwide transportation, have practically stopped flying, RBC writes. In the week that began March 14, the group operated only two flights: from Beijing to Vladivostok on March 15 and from Moscow to Bratislava on March 16 (according to FlightRadar 24). Both flights were operated by Volga-Dnepr, a charter carrier of the same name, using An-124 and IL-76 aircraft.

The group’s other carriers have not flown for several days. The group’s two Russian subsidiaries, AirBridgeCargo and Atran, made their last flights on March 13, while British CargoLogic Air and German CargoLogic Germany made their last flights on March 11.

Bermuda aviation authorities suspended the airworthiness certificates of AirBridgeCargo and Atran from March 13. Without these documents, the aircraft are prohibited from flying. The next day, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) revoked the certificates of the group’s repair organization, Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow. According to the regulator’s decision, AirBridgeCargo, Atran and Volga-Dnepr were left without valid safety certificates allowing them to fly in EU airspace.
