Sberbank has reduced rates on the main deposits of individuals by 1.5 percentage points (p.p.), follows from the materials on the bank’s website. Now the maximum rate on deposits at Sberbank is 8%, while previously it reached 9.5%.

The Bank also reduced rates on consumer loans by 1 p.p.. The minimum prime rate on loans for any purpose is now 14.9% per annum (15.9% previously).

Sberbank reduced rates on deposits and consumer loans following the reduction of the key rate. The Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia at a meeting on Friday reduced the key rate by 1.5 p.p., to 9.5% per annum.
