The third largest shareholder of Tesla Leo Ko Guan showed some remorse in buying shares in the company, criticizing the actions of Ilon Musk, writes Business Insider. That said, he did reiterate his commitment to Tesla.

“I’m 100% with Tesla because I believe in Ilon Musk and the company. But he’s killing Tesla. If I had known, I wouldn’t have invested,” Leo Co Guan wrote on Twitter (NYSE:TWTR).

However, he also acknowledged the fact that he bought more shares of the electric car maker last week.

Ko Guan also criticized Musk’s management methods of the company:

“I have been in contact with Tesla’s board for about 1 year and I have gotten nothing or at best only empty promises. I learned that Tesla is a one-man show company.”

Despite all the criticism, the investor believes Tesla will become the biggest company with or without Ilon. He also said last month that it may be time for a new CEO and Musk should give up on Tesla.

The comments from one of the company’s top investors come at a time when Musk has gained attention as CEO of Twitter, which he acquired in October.

Recall that Musk has cashed in nearly $40 billion in Tesla stock since November 2021, but the company itself earned less than $9 billion in net income in the 9 months through September 30. Tesla shares have lost 65% in 2022.
