The Russian Ministry of Finance has finalized the draft law on regulation of the crypto market and sent it to the government for consideration. This is stated in a statement by the ministry.

The document clarifies and specifies certain provisions, including those related to digital mining activities.

“The bill provides for the creation of a comprehensive regulation of the cryptocurrency market, including the procedure for transactions with digital currencies and their issuance, as well as the definition of the peculiarities of the activities of subjects of the cryptocurrency market”, – said in a statement of the Ministry of Finance.

In February, the government approved the concept of regulation of digital currencies, suggesting the division of digital currency users into qualified and unqualified investors.
