“Tinkoff-Bank” has set the minimum amount for SWIFT-transfers – $20,000. The changes will come into force on June 16, reported in the official Telegram channel of the bank.

“We are forced to introduce temporary restrictions due to an increase in the number of checks by Western partners and a decrease in the volume of payments of Russian banks’ clients processed by them,” Tinkoff explained.

The Bank also introduced a 3% commission (but not less than 200 u.u. and not more than the amount of the transfer) for incoming SWIFT-transfers in dollars, euros and pounds.

The message notes that until June 30 all outgoing transfers using the interbank system will be free of charge.

In April, representatives of credit organizations told RBC about strengthening of control over SWIFT-transfers on the part of receiving foreign banks. The terms of operations have increased and the number of refusals has grown.
