The United Kingdom on Thursday added 26 more individuals and entities to the sanctions lists against Russia, including Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov and Russian Railways head Oleg Belozerov.

Alexander Chupriyan, acting head of the Emergencies Ministry, and Nikolai Bogdanovsky, first deputy chief of the General Staff, also fell under the sanctions. In the sanctions lists was the wife of businessman German Khan Angelica.

Sanctions measures came into force also in respect of 10 structures. In particular, the sanctions affected the production company PROMTECH-Dubna, as well as the concern Kalashnikov.

The sanctioned individuals and companies are subject to an asset freeze.

At the moment, the British sanctions list for Russia includes more than 1.3 thousand individuals and legal entities.
