The capital’s labor market has overcome the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, the unemployment rate in the city is kept at less than 0.5%, the press service of the Moscow mayor and government said on Friday.

“In 2021, the labor market completely overcame the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and returned to the natural state of full employment for Moscow. The registered unemployment rate decreased from 3% in October 2020 to 0.4% in February 2022”, – stated in the message.

It is noted that the number of vacancies in the city data bank increased to 400 thousand, over 110 thousand citizens were employed in 2021, 19 thousand underwent professional retraining.
