The US dollar and euro are growing at the beginning of trading on the Moscow Exchange, while the ruble is getting cheaper against the bi-currency basket as part of the correction after strengthening in the previous days. Trading participants play off the situation on the oil market and continue to analyze the results of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2022).

The first transactions on the US dollar were held in the range of 56.59-56.87 rubles/$1, at the end of the first minute of trading the rate amounted to 56.7 rubles (+29 kopecks to the previous closing level). The euro rose to 59 rubles (+13.75 kopecks to Friday’s close). The dual-currency basket rose by 22.14 kopecks to the closing level of June 17, up to 57.74 rubles.

The dollar was 1.01 kopecks below the current official rate, while the euro – 32.99 kopecks below the official rate.
